15 years ago, our nation was shocked by planes flying into the world trade centers. We gasped, cried and wondered why would somebody hate us so much. 15 years have come and gone. Now the remembrance as dwindled down to nothing more than a memory. A faint thought just in passing.
I still remember where I was when the news came across my radio. I still remember the horror of that day as I watched on the television set and wondered what now.
15 years later the world is not a better place but a country perpetuated by violence and hate towards one another. I blame that on our Government who vowed with an oath that they will do all in their power to protect us from all enemies both foreign and domestic but they continue to let them come across our borders and grow with in our borders all in the name of free speech.
This morning I want to thank all FIRST RESPONDERS (Police Officers, Firemen, Medical personnel and others) as well as our MILITARY for doing your part to keep us safe… Our first responders are always the first in and the last out. They run towards danger instead of away from it.
Today as we honor those lost on 911, let us continue to give thanks for those who still serve. May those who have fallen REST IN PEACE and those who remain behind to continue the fight be ever thanked. Let us thank a FIRST RESPONDER TODAY!
