On September 23rd, 2017 some great sign was supposed to happen. The stars were suppose to line up and many across the hemisphere were predicting some great thing to occur. Many yelled catastrophe, while others who proclaimed Christianity cried rapture. Apparently it did not happen, or I missed it. I think the latter. What do you think?
The only great thing I did on September 23rd was study the Bible and prepared for the Lord’s day. I worked around the yard and made an offer on a house as we prepare to move and downsize. On that day as any other day I lived my life and did the things I normally do. I do know this, if some catastrophe or even the rapture were to occur I would do the same thing all over again. I would simply do what Jesus Christ told me to do, “Occupy till He comes”.
- I will get up and read my Bible
- I will go to the store
- I will tell others about Christ
- I will work around the house
- I will…
You put the narrative in the “I will”.
I cannot sit around and worry about rather the rapture will occur or not, because there is too much to do. The Bible tells us that we are be zealous of good works, but I am afraid that many were more worried about the future instead of the here and now. If you’re looking for a place to get busy in the here and now come join us @ Calvary Baptist Church and let us minister for the cause of Christ together.
