In 1995 he received the call to preach and has been faithful to that calling. Brother Shannon is a graduate of Independent Baptist College in Fort Worth, Texas. His first pastorate was at Pitkin Avenue Baptist Church in Colorado.
Along with his wife, Marci, who supports him in ministry, Brother Shannon has made a dynamic impact in the life of CBC. New growth and many changes have brought new life a church fellowship with an already wonderful history.
Pastor Shannon ministers to the members through teaching, preaching and Pastoral care and regularly participates in the North Texas Fellowship. Brother Shannon continues his education through Texas Theological University where he is a student as well as a professor.
The Eatons currently reside in Fort Worth. They are the parents of two children and have three grandchildren.
Brother George is a native of North Carolina. The son of a United States Marine, Brother George traveled quite a bit as a young child before settling back in North Carolina with his parents and two brothers.
After obtaining his Associates degree in Business Administration, Brother George joined the United States Navy, serving our country for twenty-two years and retiring in 1990.
Brother George got saved in 1986 while stationed at Pensacola Naval Air Station but it wasn't until coming to Calvary Baptist that he realized he had not had a baptism under proper authority.
Brother George assists Brother Shannon in the financial and organizational aspects of the church as well as maintaining the weekly bulletin and handling other paperwork and computing tasks.
Brother Walker and his wife, Leah live in Fort Worth, Texas, and are the parents of five children and grandparents of eight grandchildren. They're also the proud owners of two wonderful wiener dogs, Oscar and Poko.

Brother Shannon Eaton came to Calvary to pastor in 2007.A native Texan, Brother Shannon believes that leaders must also have a servants' heart. Brother Shannon was born in Corpus Christi Texas and attended Flower Bluff, High School. He also served in the United States Air Force from 1981-1985.
